4 Powerful Productivity Methods That Kick Your Ass Into Gear

 

I see these methods as little games that I play.
Here are 4 of my favorites:

  1. The Pomodoro Technique improves productivity: It is a time management method that involves breaking work into short, focused intervals called "Pomodoros" followed by short breaks.

  2. The "5-minute rule" can help overcome procrastination: The "5-minute rule" is a technique in which you commit to working on a task for just 5 minutes. (with the idea that once you start, you'll be more likely to continue).

  3. "Eating the frog" can improve productivity: "Eating the frog" means: tackle your most difficult or least desirable task first thing in the morning, to get it out of the way and increase productivity for the rest of the day.

  4. The act of smiling for 1 minute straight in victory pose: Throw both of your arms in the air (victory pose) and smile, even if you don't feel like smiling. It triggers the release of endorphins in the brain. Feeling victorious is productive!
